For real. I think alot of the time, White-knights are trying to support the world that they wish to live in, rather than the Life they want to live in the future. And that sort of behavior leads to personal ruin in the long-term.

It sucks, because every boy is infused with "saving the world" as a noble, rather than futile, goal. And it serves the exploiters quite well. At least that was my life experience. So I've narrowed the scope, to just myself and family. That's plenty of mouths to feed, and love to be shared, and all more worthy; rather than bailing out ingrates for the sake of virtue-signaling.

Ask yourself if what you are doing will make you feel good in 10 years versus 10 minutes. Then make a habit change, and watch your life change for the better. Just start doing the activity your prefrontal cortex knows will benefit you long run, no matter how uncomfortable the limbic brain makes you feel. Learn to be comfortable with discomfort. Work through the discomfort.

Come out the other side a man that feels alpha as shit for being able to master his cravings. Do this in moderation, of course. No need to torture yourself.
