MGTOW communities seem to naturally attract misogynists. This sub was made because 1 became a cesspool of hate, and the same thing is slowly happening to this sub too.

I think this is just a consequence of the fact that a large part of people who have an active interest in the topic tend to have a bone to pick with women. Most people who fit the definition of MGTOW have better things to do than discuss lack of women in their lives on obscure subreddits.

I personally think that people who throw insults like "cuck", "simp", "beta" etc. here should be deported back to /r/mgtow where they belong.

Everyone has a different idea. The ones that tell you to avoid women entirely especially if they get hostile tend to be the bitter, jealous, incel types. If you want to do all the things you suggested, its really the red pill that would best suit you..it sounds like you'd fit in perfect there...see below link... but I visit here too. Most MGTOW still lean toward having integrity and wanting a traditional type of wife but realizing they are simply not wired to make loyal wives due to their biology and evolution, so these men go their own way out of necessity after having what is known as "red pill rage" after previously being blue pilled. I myself actually get turned off by women after watching them gossip amongst each other for awhile...knowing what they really want, what they are really like, and what they really think of "weak" men.... Its not really their fault, and I hold no hatred, merely an acknowledgment of what I've come to see as "evolutionary psychology" ... One of my blue pilled older married co-workers mentioned that we had one woman working in our department and it was one too many. Even men who are "asleep" can see a bit as it's so obvious... the sexes are not identical in behavior and to pretend they are does a disservice to everyone. The left messing with gender roles is fucking up society.

There's two types of MGTOW ideas, which split between for positive personal change and defensive mechanisms.

Don't fall for women's tricks, don't commit, do what's best for you. Make money and have fun. Hit and quit as many women as you want. Drive fast cars. Do cool shit. Basically be a badass and make it work for you.

These would be positive personal changes. Ignore bitches; gain riches. Enjoy your life, stop fulfilling gender roles you don't want to do, don't give a shit about what others think about your relationships, if you want to drive cars, explore the world, be an astronaut, knock yourself out. Don't feel required to do anything you don't want to do.

But the more i dig into it the more these MGTOW men are pushing this idea that even talking to a woman is bad. You should never come in contact with women because even saying hi to a woman can land you in prison. That all women are evil and incapable of human decency. Basically buy a sexdoll and never leave the house because there are women out there and "woman bad".

That's bullshit, it's not deeper, it's just the defensive side of MGTOW. You're spreading a narrative and black propaganda that it's the "real" MGTOW, it's just another side to it.

Ignoring that, yes, the defensive side would say to stick to avoidance. Ignoring women mean women can't "pull their tricks" like lying, psychological, emotional, and physical abuse, gynocentric society, being tossed out of jobs and colleges, and feeling censored at every minute.

One method is an action of advancement of the self, such as having hobbies and interests, the other is avoiding a perceived problem through defensive measures.

Both result in the same thing, although you don't have to be MGTOW because you do either of them.

The correct method, IMO, is balance (like all things). Do the defensive things to protect yourself at the level of your comfort and do the "positive living your life" things so you enjoy life.

Just doing one or the other exclusively isn't going to work out, so you do need a balance. You just shouldn't hide in your basement your entire life, and you should just go out like a Mountain Dew commercial fucking everything in sight that you take no time to tactically or strategically live your life and end up knocking chicks up, getting death syphilis, rape accusations, etc.

Many people just go the pure defensive mode, but then talk about how they don't have anything positive to balance it. Not my way IMO, I'd prefer a life of adventure, I just have a different risk tolerance than some people and don't completely write off fucking a chick.

Do what works for you, but it's an individual expression, you have as many positive growth traits and defensive protocols as you wish to live your life.

MGTOW to me is just some aggressive risk management that focuses on some of the more negative liabilities in life, which means discussing ways to deal with the real problems in life, marriage and the negatives of that fun government contract.

There's no one way, and it's each individual's lifestyle to live.

people get hung up on labels, and being part of a team, and being part of a community. individuals who are trying to label other people, they are on a team at a sports event, and the other teams are there too. and they are all competing. its good fun, i admit, but its also.. well, its not your life. its just a communal event.

mgtow is a reactionary (mostly economic, imo) philosophy based on the red pill. the red pill is the set of hard truths about human nature, our animal ecology and sociology.

past that, its really up to you to decide where you are in the manosphere. i would say that you are not a mgtow. or a purplepiller, or pua, for that matter. you are just you, following a philosophy called mgtow. or whatever philosophy you subscribe to. i personally think its important to have reasons (even if they seem bad, or selfish, or whatever) for subscribing to tenets in any philosophy, though. and i believe that men move around in the manosphere as they move through life. these philosophies help men deal with whatever they happen to be dealing with in their lives at any given moment.

so don't sweat it partner.

it's been worded similarly, I think MGTOW means different things to different people.

Some guys are recently redpilled or angry and want to rage

Some are curious about what's to come in their future and are nervous or a bit worried what life is like being MGTOW.

Other like me, have learned that relationships, women's anger, attitudes, and feminist views just aren't for me, so we focus on improving our income, hobbies, health and personal well being and perhaps try a date here and there to remind ourselves that the experience isn't improving. It's easier to remain calm, focused and happy without even getting involved in the rage machine or trying to change the world. just easier to truly go our own way.

MGTOW from it's base. Is a massive amount of information. A majority of the informational posters. Are intentionally filtering out bp matrix propaganda.

Questions and answers about the womens' motives are dissected. That's many times where the red pill rage surfaces. No one likes to be constantly lied to. For the financial benefit of the top .0001%.

Effects are then repeated constantly by MSM data reports. Yet analysis is always lacking. Mostly because women hate their manipulation being exposed.

MSM requires women to beg the government. To plunder the tax payer man. A portion of those resources will go back to MSM coffers.

Redpill, MGTOW, or whatever like-minded men agree upon. Are being increasingly entrenched against the massive lies broadcast daily.

As long as MSM keeps goading NPCs to turn up the temperature on their neighbors. The more angry some redpill aware men will remain. The NFG approach takes away much of the sting. NPC zombies are still wandering around. Destroying real peoples lives. Some men being consumed financially by the zombies will stay pretty mad.

MGTOW = To drop the shackles imposed by society.

The shackles = societal expectations, social norms, traditions, limiting beliefs, women.. to name a few.

To drop the shackles = to define your own values in this life, pretty much everything you've believed were defined and imposed on you by others since birth. To follow them blindly is to cover your eyes with blindfold and do everything you are told to do with just your limited hearing.

MGTOW is to see society for what it is and to act with your eyes opened.
