I believe online dating did work a decade ago. Now it's just validation and women trying to increase their social standing by going for guys that should actually be out of their league. Some want to troll, exchange memes, and collect instagram orbiters.

You have the occasional DTF girl, usually trying to score Chads. Very few are looking for an actual relationship, and most of them have gotten traumatized in the process of doing so on the internet.

Online dating will likely leave a man scarred, either because of the ghosting and the indirect rejection, or because of succesful dates that can expose you to STDs.

If you are trying to protect your mental wellbeing, avoid online dating.

Went on tinder, ONCE, and never came back. The whole idea of tinder is something I disagree with man. It’s a bunch of guys and gals who choose each other solely based on superficial characteristics and some silly pickup line.

It’s one more thing in our society that reduces sex from being a sort of intimate relationship to being something attractive people do instead of watching porn.

Tinder and online dating gave much more power to women. Instead of the 80/20 rule its 90/10 now. If you Chad, you will have lots of matches, if average looking, its a waste of time.

the same as most of you. Start out picky, get no replies - nothing. Expand your area a little more, lower your standards a little more..

Next thing you know, you have literally swiped/messaged EVERY female in your radius (and probably got desperate and went up to 50 miles out) and I'm in a major city, Atlanta.

Ultimately, the only replies I get on Tinder or ANY dating app fall into 3 categories: 1) spam or chat bots trying to get me to some other adult site

2) Hookers who are not upfront about it. They try to have a convo then when you think its going good, they go "are you generous" code for "I'm a whore".

3) Trannies. And even if thats what you're into, they want money too and thir list of demands sometime exceed real women

So now I dont do dating apps, and never did bars. My ex left me back in October and since then I have truly gone my own way. No longer talk to my old "friends" as they got married, had kids, took the blue pill, and can only ever get out the house on "santioned fun" if their wives are out of town.

So now I spend most of my time at home with my dog when Im not working. My weekends pretty much consist of take the dog to the park, wash my car, watch tv, play video games, and thats really. I'm so done with the dating apps, a and have no more energy to deal with rejection.

It is a shitshow carnival. There are some real messed up ones and the ones that look put together are just really good at taking selfies. It’s just for hookups, which works. Just be safe.

Never had any luck with it. Matches, a few chats, but it's simply not worth the effort. Not one actual solid "Let's get together"

Another thing is, if you work for a large company, then expect others you work with to see your profile. And expect to see profiles there of chicks you work with.

I admittedly am pretty thirsty right about now, but havent used ANY dating app in over a month. Deleted them all when I realized how bad it made me feel, and that I was wasting entire weekends scrolling thru these apps, and still ending up alone.

It's a bit unfair because it's absurdly competitive. However, most guys can pull it off.

Tinder is awesome.

Look good, look smart, look cultured, don't look poor (even if you are). Keep updating your profile, ask chicks (you aren't dating) what they think of it (hint: their advice is always suspect).

Be clever, write funny stuff for your own amusement, don't expect any answers, remember you are the prize, you can pick.

Don't use lines, flirt but stay respectfully fun, it's all practice.

Don't over-chat, ask her out fairly soon, everyone is busy.

Dates take time, it's all practice, most will feel like a waste of time but.. you are creative and might learn something. I have learned lots of cool things from otherwise lame dates.

She won't fuck on the first date. Get that out of your head. Second or third, if you are lucky.

Last advice: always always split the bill. This shifts power in your favor.

Its all practice.

PS you might have to lower your standards for some wins but don't let that discourage you.

Practice, practice. Take a break if you aren't having fun. Come back when are.

Life is meant to be lived. Ugly girls can have great bodies and fat chicks can have great personalities. Everyone deserves some lovin. Practice, practice. That's all it is, nothing more.
