Society has ALWAYS looked down on "confirmed bachelors." You're not doing your social duty. You're not doing what you're "supposed" to do and "should" do. Confirmed bachelorhood has always been seen as morally suspect -- wayward, lazy, selfish, etc. So this isn't anything new.

If you're going to go your own way, you'll have to deal with it. It is part of the price.

As for "why" they do it, I'm sure there are a lot of reasons. Here are the ones that occur to me:

- They feel threatened by your choices/lifestyle. It brings their own choices into question, so they must attack you by making slurs on your character or ability.

- It is part of an enforcement mechanism by which society herds men into doing the "right thing" (i.e., getting married, being a good consumer and taxpayer, working for family and society).

- Partly it's biology and evolution. The tribes that survived were those where the males focused a lot on providing, protecting for, and impregnating the females. So naturally, there is a strong biological push to couple up. Those who don't do that are putting the "tribe" at risk, at a fundamental level.

- It's a way for women to deflect responsibility and avoid self-reflection. The basic message of MGTOW is that women aren't worth the effort, and that life is better without them (or at least w/o a committed relationship to them). Women get defensive when they hear this. They've been told all their lives they are special, now MGTOW are saying they aren't worth the effort? Whaaaa?! So instead of engaging in self-reflection, they project outward -- they blame and disparage men. It's kind of the standard female approach to any criticism -- blame others, attack their character and worth. It's pathetic, really, but it's also very predictable.

They do not think they are the same. They simply use the Incel tag as an insult to MGTOW's because they dislike that we are not playing into their bullshit princess games.

Technically the entire definition of "Incel" is something that is almost impossible to be. If you have 50 dollars in your pocket you cannot be an incel. Incel means involuntarily celibate. If you have 50 dollars in your pocket it is no longer involuntary and thus becomes voluntary. Sex is cheap if you really want it. IF you arent willing to pay for it with a direct cash to hand transaction then that just means you have some semblance of standards.

As far as MGTOW being viewed as incels.. well its because the line has been blurred heavily over the past few years. MGTOW was originally made up mostly of men who were older, got divorce raped, falsely accused shamed out of MRA groups etc... But now a HUGE amount are incels that now say they are MGTOW. No shame here, if the reason you want to go your own way is because you never had any success with women or getting laid then that is fine. You do you. But thats technically not what happens. They just come to MGTOW sites and constantly pump out their redpill rage, which they never seem to get over and move past.

It's tough for people to distinguish among "the other."

We as MGTOW either reject the ways of women all together, or tolerate enough for sexual release. Incels are bitter and hateful because they do not receive the same adoration from females that they show to those females. Our beliefs are disruptive to their ways of life, so it is politically beneficial to lump is together with the incels.

No one's ever looked down upon me. Then again, I'm not a westerner and I've slain a lot in lives past and have a rep of being really smart, so people get that i'm a bit eccentric i guess.
