Nothing says "I am the prize" like having a woman who has to pay extra to hang on to you. Realize that her out earning you means you don't have to worry about most of the downsides of a divorce. If she's got as much or more skin in the game, you've got more leverage than you think.

Step 1 is live like you would if you only had your paycheck so you aren't dependant on her to keep up the lifestyle you have. Your frame is "I don't need your money." If you need her to support you, your status is lower than hers. If you can walk away and still be fine, you have a chance. She still might leave you for a rich guy. Position yourself to be able to not care.

Your income isn't that important if you have a purpose. Whether that be work or a hobby or whatever. Be driven in something, ideally something with some value attached to it that can make her feel superior to her social circle.

My wife out earns me by about 50%. Used to eat at me - "how can I be alpha"? By not giving a fuck about it. If she rubs her paycheck in your face, A&A with the frame that she has to ante in more in order for the marriage it to be worthwhile to you. For 20 years of our 25 year marriage my wife has out-earned me. It's never been an issue. We keep a main account that is 'ours' with small side accounts for our personal off the books spending.

If she is income self-sufficient, like my wife, then she probably won't care if you are rich or not as long as you are not being a child that she has to coddle.

It's a non-issue unless YOU make it one by being a low value man. Then you'll be giving her the excuse to bring it up and make it an issue. "Value" in this case means the total MRP package not "how much money I make."

Yes. However you have to be the fully confident Apex Alpha fucks if you are not the Beta Bucks. You also give her the power to CONSTANTLY question, belittle, criticize, and undermine EVERYTHING that you do, suggest, or even think. Meanwhile you will fall into the trap of accepting and encouraging everything that she suggests, does, or even thinks.

The only way you can "win" is if you are COMPLETELY satisfied with your job and do not require ANY moral or emotional support from your high earning spouse.

If the household is secure with money, she's not going to care that much about what you make if you're bringing high quality attributes to the relationship by being a high quality man.

It's the context around the money that matters more than the money itself. If the context of not making as much is laziness, it's a negative. If the context around the money is that you made a principled/passion choice of career and it's an aspect she admires about your life, then it's a positive.

Women generally aren't as ego invested in money. It's not necessary for them to be so. Their money concerns revolve largely around security.

The money thing is not NECESSARILY a deal killer, if you can maintain your frame, fitness, and attitude.

But seriously though, exec assistant at a non-profit? I'm having a hard time imagining a more beta-bitch job. You fetch coffee and run someone else's errands for a living. That position is SOMETIMES acceptable, if you are there to learn and if the executive in question is insanely alpha, like a 4 star general or the CEO of a Dow company. But a non-profit exec is likely to already be a bleeding heart liberal who is unlikely to teach you anything you can apply in this context.

Switch that shit up. Be a project manager or something.
