This is going to diverge a bit from the majority of posts here giving good advice on MRP tools and how to apply them. As I continue my plan to improve myself, I try to be conscious in my reflections of the past in just how I came to fully grasp the ideas presented on these forums, in the books, and on the blogs in order to better cement the ideas in my own logical mind; as well as in an attempt to develop an effective method to pass along these ideas. Because the best way to know something inside and out, is to be able to effectively teach it. This post details some thoughts on this effort. It's a little bit on the philosophical side, so pull up a chair and put your thinking cap on if you're continuing.

Give a boy a practice sword, and tell him to fight. He will likely run at his opponent and flail wildly with the sword, because this is what he sees when he sees a sword fight. When a newcomer finds this place either through the google search of: "Why won't my wife fuck me" or, as I see a lot on /r/askMRP, as a jump from /r/deadbedrooms, or a lateral over from /r/theredpill; the very first inkling they get from posts here (if they bother to read any before posting) is that this is a group of men. The tone here is more intense, the thoughts powerful, and I would wager their first takeaway is: "I need to be more manly in my life". They aren't wrong, but I also wouldn't encourage them to go waving their sword wildly about.

Hopefully they read the sidebar, and are bombarded with a bunch of the core ideas. These ideas are the infancy of what I'm imagining as a red pill neural network. A black void, where every time a novice reads a piece of information on not being the nice guy, or not feeling sorry, or dread, lifting, or tests; a neuron gets created in this void where that information lies. But there's still a vast nothingness separating these neurons. Eager to employ these ideas, a lot of times the result of this lack of connection is leaving the house at every argument, STFU to a point of becoming mute, or going completely apathetic to any and all stimulus. The neurons are firing, but there's no coordinated purpose, and sometimes no feedback mechanism for improvement. And in every other sense the person's behavior is the same except for these random events. Sticking in this stage too long is what we call sprinkling a little alpha on the relationship. It's: "Hey guys I did the things you said, and now my wife is calling me on my BS and I don't know if I did it right."

So the connections need to be made, and often this is the hardest part because these connections come in large part from experience, and are often made in a way that is uniquely understandable only to that person. I remember back in high school when I was taking computer programming classes. I was good. I had a knack for writing code, and would often finish early, and then use the free time to code various games like connect 4, battleship, and one time attempted monopoly. People would see this and say: "Hey Gargantuablarg29, come help me with my code". I would go over, know they had the appropriate declared variables, know globally how things should work, but their program looked like a foreign language to me. Because when you get down to the part where operations and connections were performed in their code, every person did it in a way unique to them.

Intermission: If you're still with me at this point, you'll likely notice that my preferred way of building and/or presenting an idea is to parallel it with a similar life example people intuitively already understand.

So with respect to attempting to make the connection in the network of another poster, I noticed a tactic that seemed to be used quite often by those flaired long ago when I joined MRP, which was the epitome of leading a person to a door, but allowing only them to walk through it. This was by seeming to write in such a way as to guide the poster to various ideas, but instead of deductively pointing out the conclusions, set them up just so, so the poster had the opportunity to come to the appropriate realization on his own. I believe this is the best way to allow those connections to happen for more novice posters, and I try to do this from time to time, but damn if it isn't hard. Especially when they seem to be acting like complete idiots.

It's just too tempting of trap for posters to fall into though. I'll see posts stating: "I've been at this for 4 months now and there's been no response from her" and over a year in, I know that 4 months is absolutely nothing. 4 months and you just may be starting to appear on your wife's radar as someone to follow. But I also can wholely relate to that time period, and several times after that, where I would feel like I have shit under control, I get it, and then realizing afterwards that no, I really didn't get it at all. It's the curse of not knowing what you don't know yet, but also the incapability to even understand that there's more to know, leading to the feeling that you indeed must know it all now.

In an ideal world, I would imagine the best way to learn MRP effectively is by some active mentor program, almost like a school curriculum where basic math operations are mastered first, then harder topics like algebra are brought in, then trigonometry. But with >10k subscribers currently I would imagine that would be practically impossible. It seems the current environment is one where all the information is basically shotgunned out at once, and in a Darwinian way those that are capable of understanding it succeed, and those that are not, do not. Maybe that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I do wonder, however, what the impact 10k subscribers start to have when a lost poster gets every answer from: "Stop being a faggot" to a detailed breakdown of just what went wrong, and chooses to invest their thought into being spoon fed the detailed breakdown rather than the critical thinking (and making their own REAL connections) they may have done had they only received the message to stop being a faggot. (Do I realize that this long-winded explanation is basically the spoon feeding of ideas on how we learn MRP rather than a more succinct make-you-think post? Yes I do, now stop being a faggot). It's absolutely surprising that with 10k subscribers, there are at times only ten or twenty on MRP at once, and a post can get less than that many replies. But I would be curious for those that have been around longer...the forums that preceded married red pill, what happened when their numbers got large? Were they able to hold the core message together? And if not are we doomed to follow their fate (and can we do anything about it?)

So there is no grand wrap-up to this idea vomit. But I have noticed that many of the recognizable names here (flaired and not) have their own unique styles of posting. And in addition I haven't seen much of a collective effort on studying the effectiveness of how MRP information is presented. The summary of this post is a generalized curiosity on the thoughts others have of recognizing that there may be some kind of benefit in knowing psychologically how RP ideas are learned, if there is a more structured way to present the current floating pool of information, and the impact more and more subscribers will have on the possible dilution or ability to effectively teach the message...and of course...if we care about any of these things?
