EDIT: More of a field report.

While Fit Testing (and what rhymes with it) is oft-lamented around here, there is a solid, and pretty important to the married RP feller, test that is not mentioned as much - the loyalty test.

Fitness Testing from a woman can be associated with boob- and butt-grabbing from a man. We like how it makes us feel, and fit testing makes women feel good in much the same manner. Men are attracted the feminine curves and softness, and women are attracted to the masculine power, strength and control. We grab, pinch, rub and squeeze. They bitch, nag, whine and complain.

Odd, but there it is.

LTR Loyalty Testing does not rear its head as often as fitness testing does because whether you are in a LTR or marriage, she has certain assurances that you are (in her mind) locked down. Loyalty tests are almost unknown in casual relationships until you meet that one odd chick who waits until you are right at the top of the mountain then looks you dead in the eye and says, "Tell me you love me." This is so out of place in a casual relationship that you pull up (mid-growl) so fast that you hear screeching tires, all the train-cars behind you derailing and for some reason chicken feathers fly into the air. Not a lot of loyalty testing in the casual relationships. Also, in LTR and marriages, you are always around. She does not question your loyalty because you stick close like any loyal beastie would.

McGill mentioned it the other day - you can go 6 months on a-hole mode gathering jerk points before loyalty tests will show up. This is because in that 6 months you just may have convinced her that you are alpha male enough that your options have increased. At some point, she will come to herself and wonder "Holy sowing-oats, Batman!! Am I freaking plate?!?" It is from this frame that loyalty tests arise. These loyalty tests come from a fearful place rather than the tingle-ful place that the Fit Testing comes from - but the rewards for passing them can be much greater than the rewards from fitness testing. She has tested your fitness to ensure that she did not burden herself with some doughy marshmallow - now she needs to know that your alpha self is not going to drop her like used toilet paper.

Here is my loyalty test that I passed without knowing recently. There was a situation that arose where I had to step in and stop an activity that needed stopping. And that right now. My wife had told me of something that had happened while I was out and when I confronted the individual (female) she swore "on a stack of bibles" that it had not happened.

My statement at this point was "my wife is not lying to me." And that was it. I did not yell, but it there was no arguing the point after that either. Then I told the woman it was best she left my presence (in somewhat more colorful words). Nobody else was in the room then, but everybody in the house knew what I had said.

After things calmed down and I got to bed a couple of hours later, my wife attacked. It was not a "love making" session, it was her telling me, "you are going to blast into orbit where no man has gone before." I almost reached over to flip on the lamp to see if it was her or a different woman.

I'm telling ya, Smaug aint got nothing for the base in my voice that night.

And flat out loving for the next few days with quickies and escalating a-plenty. To be honest, while not complaining, I did not figure it out for a day. Until I realized she had casually mentioned the situation 3 or 4 more times and all in proximity to sex. Culminating in a week later telling me flat out how much she appreciated it. I made a pff sound like maybe I should not have cuz she aint no good wife (which got her humming), but I surely did not say "you're welcome, M'Lady!" like some Dudley DoWright fool might have.

I'd like to hear some more loyalty tests and how you passed - these can be invaluable to a newb.
