Something that hit me this morning while meditating in my underwear out in the cold of my backyard this morning. Because I need to work on my resilience and frame and according to the book GRIT by Martin Meadows meditation and cold exposure increases toughness so why not both.

So I had this realization. I've been looking at all the things I'm learning here in this forum as weapons to carry into battle and seeing my wife as this daunting enemy.

But instead of viewing it as a war that requires bravery and emotion. I need to look at it as a project that requires precise measurements and is not reactionary in the process. It's not a battle plan, it's a blueprint. If you're fighting tooth and nail, then you're missing the point.

You don't approach a project like you're about to get into a fight because your adrenaline would prevent you from making the delicate movements that are required to complete it. This thus far had been my biggest downfall but I think I'm finally learning to calm down.
