If you're referring to the 'we're not having enough sex' talk, or the 'I'm trying something new called Red Pill' talk, then, no.

One of the biggest sources of sex frequency improvement, for me, has been to stop being sensitive to her emotional state; and start just broadcasting my intentions, instead.

So my version of the sex talk was basically "either we're having sex after little dude goes to bed, or I'm off for a three mile bike ride; but either way, I'm getting some exercise".

I haven't ever mentioned TRP to my wife. She's certainly noticed, but is probably just thankful my midlife crisis is just some behavior changes and not something expensive.

Worthless. The talk does nothing. Usually she comes out on top, and even if she doesn't and she promises to change things because of how it makes you feel, she doesn't follow through and you won with blue-pill techniques which aren't long-term. Just let your actions show her what's up.

Had the big talk earlier this year. Used red pill knowledge, maintained frame, stated my intentions clearly and definitely got her attention.

Here's the technique I used... We had a three hour car journey and beforehand I had been distant enough for her to enquire why. I refused to answer, but then in the car I said I was ready to talk. This delay builds dread in her mind. The reason for having the talk in the car is so that she can't run away, she's less likely to flip out while you're driving, there's no eye contact so it's easier to hold frame, and there's no distractions. It worked for me.

So yes, having the talk kicked off a change in her but only because she knew I was serious (nuclear options were mentioned by me). Since then I've let my actions speak and have not reinitiated any talk.

I had 'the talk' the day before finding trp and starting work on myself. I wish it had been the day before because I wouldn't have done it.

In my opinion, it's something to do after you are the best you can be and things are still not working.
