I don't know why I'm posting this. Maybe if it helps other hsp males to find their true selves it can prevent them from going down the same rabbit hole that I did.
That rabbit hole being: Binge eating, drug addiction, chronic anxiety and depression, identity disturbance, suicide attempts.
All because I never validated my emotions. I went against my very nature of being an hsp just so I could feel a sense of belonging, never rocking the boat, never standing up for myself, never asserting my anger, always quiet.
Please don't ignore the voices in your head. Please find a safe way to express yourself, and find people that accept those expressions. It will save your life.
I'm still trying, but it's very hard to find people (even professionals) that believe me. It is so god damn hard to verbally explain what's going on in my head without guilt/judgement/anxiety taking over and blocking my thought process. Everything gets misunderstood. Everything gets invalidated. I'm so behind on life and I can't seem to find a way to catch up.
Thanks for letting me rant. Stay safe
