American Men & Mid-term Elections

Well ignoring issues outside of feminism and men's rights, neither party is great, but at least the GOP doesn't legitimately hate men. They my be fine with sending men off to die in stupid wars, but really the Democrats are only slightly better on that front and the GOP won't spit on the graves of the men they send off.

Trump has recently talked about the "war on women" and specifically mad a point of wanting to nominate a woman to the Supreme Court, essentially conceding ground on the idea that there's something wrong with nominating men. His daughter (who has a great deal of influence over him) is also a major feminist. DeSantis shut down another default shared parenting bill in Florida. Ted Cruz refuses to budge on the idea that other people's sons might not be more expendable than his two daughters. Jesse Waters (who recently lost his primary) openly called men expendable.

None of this is good, and I'd love to be able to vote against these people, but then I look at the other side and it's just so much worse. It's not even close.

At least Josh Hawley seems to be showing some interest in men's and boy's issues. Negative points for his views on conscription, but he's the only politician I know of in the US who seems to openly care about men at all. Also, Steven Crowder has actually been amazing when it comes to men's rights issues. He's had Karen Straughan on his show a few times and he seems to have really listened.

I think Warren Farrell talked about ho he had a conversation with Andrew Yang, who seemed to take an interest in men's issues, but apparently Yang's campaign manager put a stop to that since apparently if Yang openly talked about men's issues it would sink his chances of ever getting elected. It's just not possible to care about men and do well with Democrat voters.

I vote third party in a state that allows it and leave it at that. I used to vote democrat and I have some of their views but the entire Misandrist movement really put me off the entire party, I don't care anymore. I could care less if the right or left win the elections but I'd LOVE it if a third party won but that's not reality in America right now at least.

I do believe in voting though and not abstaining because I feel like one part of fixing the two party system in the US at least is to drive up the numbers of people voting, that makes it more likely that a third party can be viable but right now not enough people are voting.

Don’t abstain, also as well pick a caucus inside the political parties to support over third party. More power with caucuses, a example is to support the Men’s Health Caucus. Also don’t just vote, VOLUNTEER. Get yard signs, go make phone calls with a campaign, go knock doors.

To be concerned for Men’s Rights and to vote for a Democrat would be insanity.

Neither party is good for men's rights. One side has feminism which at least pays lip service to equality as a goal even if they tend to fail miserably at it, often intentionally and the other has traditionalism and the religious right.

To be concerned for men's rights and vote for either major party is insanity, but there aren't any other meaningful choices.

IMO, neither Dems or GOP are good for men or good for America at the moment. Unless there is an especially good candidate from the main parties, I plan to vote Green, Independent, or Libertarian candidates for the foreseeable future. I hope enough of my fellow Americans do the same so the main parties need to start working for the good of nearly all to get elected.

Voting these days is almost never about who you are voting for. In my experience it’s mostly about who you are voting against. If political party A will make life worse for my children immediately when they take office and political party B will make it worse as well but it will take them 10 years to do so…people generally vote that way.

I'm going to read the other comments and pick a way to make my vote count the most. But I'm definitely not going to vote for the Dems. I heard 2/3 of student loans debt is female. I didn't even take student loans and now they're going to make me pay for someone else's student loan.

My choices are literal fascists on the right, or stupid kids on the left.

The system sucks, but I still weigh stupid kids as less of a problem than actual fascist trash. It does suck that you have to choose between two kinds of stupid.

Honestly, I just hope the diabetic white-nationalists try to start their shooting war so I can start Solving the Problem (tm).

There is no non misandrist political party. I vote for democrats because I think they’re better on other issues that effect me such as labor unions
