Buzzfeed article absolves convicted false accusers of responsibility for their crimes and condemnes the U.K. justice system for upholding the law without the expected leniency

You’ll notice lots of emotive language such as ‘vulnerable’ and passages about motherhood and separation of child and mother and breastfeeding and in general the author writes as if the women are victims not perpetrators and are being innocents persecuted not criminals punished.

Ironically the author mentions the women’s reputations being destroyed and thejr job prospects reduced and how this has a deep affect to their mental health while ignoring that the falsely accused suffered the same

The solution isn't to show leniency to women who make false accusations. The solution is for women to not falsely accuse anyone. Teach women not to lie.

But in this case her parents sent her to a mental home instead of believing her. Funny thing that.
