Honestly, this opinion piece barely even goes out to Smith, or Bocelli for that matter. They are the mere tips of the iceberg of a culture that normalizes men accused of serious abuse.

The article is also about Will Smith and while she also hates him, a lot of comments are defending his slap of Chris Rock, saying that 'Chris insulted his wife.'

It was a bald joke (that she's doing a remake of GI Jane) and clearly the thinking was that she had shaven her head, that it was a choice. Only afterward did Jada and Will say she has an illness that's causing her to lose her hair, and the joke was too far. At the same time, bald jokes are made endlessly about men for whatever reason. But don't treat women equally! Don't hurt their feelings!
