So we have the clothesline project at the university I attend every year with lots of "no means no", etc. on a couple dozen T-shirts in the student center. While I'm sensitive to the victims of actual abuse, I find the tone of the movement surrounding this activity very negative during the time of year this is going on.

Would it be in bad taste to have a shirt up there that says "Being a man does not automatically make me a rapist or a pedophile"? Because the implication that some of them are making is that men in general approve rape - that the group of people who condone violence to women is called "men" rather than "criminals".

This bugs me, but should I just ignore it next time around?
