As a single father myself, and having gone through this nonsense quite a bit when my daughter was young, I get this is frustrating. But it is just a name; not sure it's worth getting excited about.

Now, if you're excluded from using the app because of your gender, that'd be something different. But it really is just a name.

As everyone else said, this is pretty frivolous. It's just a name based on the people who make up the vast, vast majority of their target demographic. You are an exception to the rule. I don't think anyone really would be upset over a lawncare app named DadsAhoy or something.

At a cursory glance, this seems incredibly petty and unimportant. But if the app was called HiPaPa, there would be sooo much outrage and a huge movement to change it. Keep us posted, this is a worthy cause!

These kinds of posts make the MRA movement seem petty and laughable, discrediting countless men everywhere who suffer from serious, impactful issues. People who oppose the MRA movement see these kinds of posts and feel validated in brushing off an entire movement as "whiny" or not worth taking seriously. This isn't a men's rights issue let alone a human rights issue... it's the name of an app that targets the overwhelming demographic of mothers (of which you are a teeny tiny minority exception). This is just a mite on the petty side. If say the app physically didn't let you use it because you're not a mother... sure you would have grounds. Do the actual daycare workers treat you any differently? It's just the name of an app... I'd let this one go.

I refuse to believe you're this petty. I'd be more apt to believe this post to be the work of a feminist looking to bait us and make us look stupid. Thankfully, no one here seems to be that petty.

Feminists stoop to absurdly low levels to get what they want. They take offense to everything. They're ridiculous. If you want to stoop to their level, don't drag anyone or any group down with you.

You want my advice? Be a man and get over it. We're better than this nonsense. It's just a name.
