The moment Deadpool panders to SJW politics the whole brand is finished. I suspect all the behind the scenes staff know this and will probably avoid pissing off fans by firing actors without any due process.

The accusations were essentially unfunded. He immediately came out with a statement detailing his history with the accuser and how she has tried this before. His wife clearly stood by him.

The fact that a basically anonymous accusation can end your career is insane.

As if we needed more proof of the world's insanity.

Quite apart from the basic problem of women falsely accusing men for vengeance, victim glory, alleviation of boredom, this crazy replace-every-man-accused mentality could so easily be weaponized by movie studios.

Making movies is expensive and releases are often strategically timed with pinpoint precision. False allegations could become a weapon of choice in bumping up the cost of competitor's films and delaying their release.

The whole metoo thing has seriously overplayed it's hand.
