I m not sure why I am posting here but I am feeling quite overwhelmed. I m a phd student 28, and only recently i started dating in my phd only

To say it has been a disaster is really an understatement..I fallen in love with someone and she rejected me although I have no qualms with her, she was really a good person. I started reaching out to others person who showed interst me (dating apps and socials) and it's like when I do try to talk for a while, it seems i am just pushing the chariot only and it seems so frustrating only to think myself that I am really at fault. It's like more i meet people the more i face disappointment and it's like i want to end this altogether

I generally consider myself to be kind helpful and do have personality relating to arts and literature although my phd is in STEM so i expect the other person to show some intiative to have some conversation as i can talk about anything and that's with women who reached out to me .

Seriously I just asked myself in morning what really issue with me , cant i be complete on my own and a little thing inside my brain said that you are complete on your own and and I am so proud of you.

I am seriously considering spending more time in my hobbies and stop putting so much focus on finding Someone or more together end it

The only thing that I worry that if it gets better?. I really don't want to become someone that i am not proud of, i still want to be kind empathetic and keep clear of any negative connotation with opposite gender?. I just want to be happy on my own as i was once
