Here's my take on this issue.

Abortion is a right of all humans. As it stands, it only applies to women, as only women can get pregnant. If technology allows for men to bear children, this right should apply to them as well.

As it stands, the only way a parent can disavow responsibility for a gestating fetus is if both parents mutually agree, and give up custody to the state. This should be rectified.

The rectification should also be gender neutral. It should not be "paternal" anything. Any parental obligation should be one which a person consents to willingly. Thus, if a pro-life woman becomes pregnant, and doesn't want the responsibility, she too can refuse to accept parental obligation, and the father, provided he accepts parental obligation, would be the sole parent. In the same, if a woman becomes pregnant and wants to keep the child, but the man is unwilling to accept parental obligation, he should not only be able to deny it, but it should not be expected unless specifically agreed upon. The default custody should be none, until one or more of the parents choose to accept it.

In the case of women aborting fetuses which the other party would not want aborted, that's their right. It may upset someone to have their future child aborted against their will, but bodily autonomy trumps this grievance. However, I think with the notion that either parent can simply refuse to accept parental responsibility, more women would be willing to bring the fetus to term, and relegate parenthood to the father, if that is the father's wish.

It's that simple. Parental responsibility should be entirely voluntary, and never placed upon someone as a matter of course, without their consent.

Once in drunken stupor I fucked a bitch who took my condom off right before I blew. I know she did because I saw it in her hand afterwards and then saw the cunt was flooded. Then it hit me that she'd been pouring me drinks all night, but had barely had one herself. It was all planned. I don't know how the fuck she'd managed to get it off like that, but she must have had dexterous hands. I could feel the rage welling over, but I managed to maintain a calm exterior. So then she turns around and says and I remember it like it was yesterday "you just made me so happy" in a very disturbing gloating sort of way. I had to stumble away to not beat the bitch to death right then and there. I nearly beat myself to death leaving. First falling down the stairs to her room. Then trying to get out of her apartment when I couldn't see shit. I could hear her coming after me and that pissed me off enough to make me fall down the front door stairs smashing my face into the sidewalk. Nearly killed myself trying to walk home with a massive headache and rage crashing into shit everywhere.

This is kind of bullshit you can end up having to pay for and deal with for the rest of your life. I now never ever drink with women around, only men. I don't want them anywhere near me.

She got pregnant that day and I'm paying child support for it and have been for three years now. It's so fucking stupid that I have to pay for that shit. Now every time I hear talk about how men shouldn't have any way out and it's women doing the talking. I think about her. I wonder how many of them are just like her? Scares the living shit out of me hearing them say all that shit so righteously..
