Most history contains men. If you're lacking to find a man who did great things or was great then you need to pay more attention in history class.

Eitherway, I don't pay attention to the stupid month celebration shit. I don't need a month to celebrate my Asianness, and I certainly don't need one for my maleness.

Honestly, this is not a good idea.

Sadly, it is just an opportunity for people to focus on the negative parts of history and hate on us. Men have done many great things, like endless of inventions, we have literally built 99.99999999999999% of all buildings, instructions and useful devices on earth.

But people will not see the good part, people will only focus on the bad guys and the negative parts and use it to hate on us.

I had an idea about a month ago to change International Men’s Day’s awareness symbol from blue to a white feather similar to how they do poppies on Remembrance Day. But I’ve go no clue how to reach out to Men’s health organisation’s to consider this change.

I feel like this is uneeded. Celebration months are assigned to minorities who are underappreciated, whereas white men are pretty much at the top of the hierarchy. No hate, but I think that celebration months should be limited to the minority groups that actually need it to be represented and appreciated.

We don't need an "appreciation" month, we need an "awareness" month of men's health. Whether it's a mental state or breaking gender roles men should be given a month to check their health. We suffer from unchecked mental illnesses and poor health that contribute to our quality of life. It's not about appreciating it's about raising awareness that we too are human beings that suffer in the shadows.

July Men's Health Month. See a doctor, eat healthy, live happy.

Kind of unneeded. History months are usually assigned to minorities or groups whos history is usually unrepresented. Men’s history is- well, all the history. There is the movember november month for recognising men’s issues, however, as it is the more unrepresented topic in todays society
