You don't say where you're located.

In the United States, according to the FBI, 6,508 murders were committed in a residence in 2021.

According to the CDC, 38,358 men committed suicide in 2021.

Assuming every single murder was a part of a male suicide, which is a dubious assumption, only 17% of suicides could have also involved a murder.

No, they lie. Majority of suicides do not belong into this category. And one should examine why someone does it. Reasons matter, because if you tackle them, you might solve the issue.

Honestly, you make false charges and destroy someone's life or fleece him during divorce and alienate his kids and expect no retaliation. I am not surprised if some end their abuser too. Of course let's pretend reasons matter only in case of women like feminists like to do.

Of course murder suicide cases are rare and represent negligible portion of all suicides.

I believe that this was originally specifically about domestic violence related incidences as a way of attacking male victims for having the nerve to kill their abuser before they kill themselves...

I don't think there was ever any source for it, just another claim pulled out of thin air.

No. They made the claim, they provide the proof. It is not our responsibility to mop up the bullshit that they spew everywhere. (yet I shall do it anyway, 🤣)

It's not a great comparison because the time frames are different, but...

Apr2021–Mar2022 saw 198 female homicide victims, compared to 4129 male suicides registered in 2021. If we assume every single female homicide, was not only a murder, but murdered by a man, and also a murder-suicide that's ~5% of the suicides.

That number goes down to (less than ^[note ^1] ) 60 if you look specifically at adult female victims, killed by a partner (or ex-partner), for a maximum of ~1.5%.

Even if we include all homicide victims (696) that's roughly 1 in 6. Removing them leaves us with 3433 male suicides compared to 1454 female; Still more that twice as many male suicides.

[note 1] Partner or ex-partner includes boyfriend or girlfriend, common-law spouse or cohabiting partner, ex-spouse, ex-common-law spouse or ex-cohabiting partner, ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend, spouse (including civil partner) and adulterous relationship.

I've literally never seen or heard this in my life. Can you provide link or article saying this is the case?
