Everything here was supposed to disappear. Banned subreddits, deleted communities, cancelled blogs — much of what is archived here survives nowhere else.

It stays free — no paywall, no account — for the next man who comes looking, the way it was free for you.

Yes, they do.

There was a big change in their TOS. They said that discrimination against members of a majority demographic are acceptable. In reality this only works out to hate, discrimination, and even borderline illegal activities against white people and men. Especially straight white men. This is all acceptable in their terms of service.

What are the chances of someone buying out Reddit the way twitter was bought out and changing all of this ?

In their minds, equality = female supremacy. The funny thing is that everyone else but themselves can see that they're sexists and they still think they aren't.

Depends on the moderator and sub. There are certainly many subs where sharing any stories of misandry can get one removed.

[–]reverbiscrap 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Only so much. I have reported people to the admins for Hate (Misandry) and posts have been deleted, accounts banned.

I think Op is from a different time when the admins figured they could get away with it, but now that Reddit has gone public, the rules have changed. Letting open misandry fly could see a federal lawsuit or censure/scrutiny from the govt.

Yes, obviously. This platform has been compromised by the left a long time ago.

half of the relationship advice sub will never allow women to be accountable dude. it doesn't matter how in the wrong she actually is, people will somehow try to shift it and make the man work

[–]AbysmalDescent 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's insane to me how people can somehow come to the conclusion that men do not deserve protection or cannot be vulnerable, when the very fact that admins do not believe they deserve protection or consideration denotes that they are quite vulnerable. It's even crazier that they would try to justify treating women as a minority or a vulnerable community, when they are over 50% of the population and online(in a space where physicality does not actually matter).

It's also quite telling that they will try to argue that white people cannot be vulnerable or a minority even though technically they are(if you were to go by the numbers), when the very fact that moderators thinking racism, hatred and prejudice against white people are not worthy of moderation denotes that they are actually very vulnerable.

Yes.

And most Mods too

[–]Frird2008 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They're not only incentivized for it, but those who choose not to participate in the hating game are actively demonized.

They were probably bullied in school by the cool kids plus have not good relationships with their dad (A Reddit moderator for Pete sake) To get on the men hate train would be easy
