I am a gen z "Zoomer" and what I have to say is: you just wait a couple more years where we are old enough to start making our voices really heard (i.e. graduated from college and in the workforce). From my point of view, my generation (generally) takes a big step back in ideology in a sort of quasi-"The greatest generation" type of way in regards to conservatism. In other words, we are less liberal by the American definition and balanced in conservatism and true democracy (generally). But culturally... we are... something else.

EDIT: note that more of us will be highly educated (which is linked to center/right-wing) than any other generation because of such an incentive to do so

Don't do anything stupid, OK? This kind of talk is sort of worrying. Do you have people you can call? You can always post a message here if you are feeling down and need support, and may find helpline in the sidebar, I think.

Sure, things look bad, but at the same time, although things have gotten worse, they have also gone better. The MRM has never been as big and as popular, our talking points are starting to spread in the public, and the more rabid the feminists are, the bigger a wake up call they are to the rest of the world.

If things continue like this, it is possible that in a few years, you will hear talk of gynocentrism, male disposability, and malagency on TV. If those concepts manage to get into public consciousness, it could do a lot of good, and not just to push back against feminism.

Yes, and it's why I said fuck the West and moved to Asia. The filth will reach here sooner or later but it's at least 20 years behind the West, so I'll be over 70 by the time it does.

For example "Both parents work, and entrust their children to the state during the working day" is the main method they have brainwashed the generations. Does that work so well now, with lockdowns and social distancing?

If only essential services are running, that mostly means only men are working.

Yes, women make up a lot of the healthcare workforce, and they're seeing 1st hand how having a job is not exactly pleasant when things go bad. We already have a shortage of doctors because we pushed women into the role, women who then work shorter hours and or leave/retire early. You'll get even more women leave after this, and maybe a surge in male nurses in the future.

Frankly I know the whole 'man works, women looks after kids' thing has been deeply corrupted to mean 'so she can divorce him and keep his kids and house', but this is certainly a kick in the teeth to the whole 'everyone is equal' BS.

Women keep threatening or actually going on strike, but only short term so we don't notice how little we really need them and their jobs.

When MEN stop going to work, shit hits the fan rapidly.

Certainly this pandemic will change things, maybe speed it up for the worse (good, let it burn). Maybe it will be a hard re-set for the better?

Things will change, for sure.

Oh yeah, it's terrible. But not all is lost. Little by little, more and more people are starting to fight back, and then we see hit pieces like this that try so hard to pretend that hate movements like feminism aren't actually hate movements:

People are onto them now, and the only tactic they have to fight back is to keep screaming "MISOGYNY!" at the top of their lungs. But that really amounts to nothing more than just name calling because telling people over and over again that they hate women if they're against feminism doesn't somehow make it true.

When I read this, my first instinct is to tell you and people who feel like you that yes, you are right, but you cannot save the world. Focus on yourself and the people close to you first, then pick something you are passionate about and that you can work on without feeling bogged down by the scale or enormity of a problem.

Sorry for the pop (meaning simplified, but valid) psychology up front.

It is hard to tell without the perspective of history, which will take a few decades, but I think it is far from clear that we are facing anything unique. We have faced irrational extremism throughout most of history.

This became clear to me when I saw a few videos on youtube of William Buckley, a hard-core but intellectual conservative of the 60s, interviewing people on the left. Intelligent, nuanced, and only occasionally heated discussions. A far cry from the screeches of Fox News and its counterparts on the left, or from five minute morning show segments trying to capture the fiendish complexity of the climate change science and the even more difficult question of what to do about it.

But were things really more civilised back then? If yes, how do we square that with the upheavals of 68? Support of Chairman Mao, arguably the worst villain of history?

The answer, of course, is that Buckleys programme was not in any way representative of the debate at the time, but simply one of the few survivors in a process of historic distillation. What will survive from todays debate half a century from now will also be the results of such distillation - and there is plenty of intelligent debate around, although less on extremely politicised issues such as sexual assault and climate change.

Think about it. In the fifties, Americans thoughts communists were taking over. In the sixties, basic civil rights would lead to civil war. In the 80s, we had pedophelia hysteria. After 9/11, we obsessed about terrorism in ways that hurt us much more than terrorists ever could directly.

The hype around sexual assault does not strike me as extreme in comparison. The hype around climate change has not yet led to harmful measures on a larger scale. And all the while, more than half the worlds population has not only exited extreme poverty in just half a century, but can now even afford smartphones with more computing power than the entire world had in 1960.

So yes, speak up. But also: worry about yourself and your friends first. And, at least a little bit, enjoy the crazy ride.

I don't want this discussion to go too off-topic, but what is also frustrating is the "end-times" prophecies of the Bible that are being connected especially with such societal events today. I don't know how to interpret it, but I don't immediately believe it's false either. I'm not very religious though, but I struggle about that.

I used to. At some point, I realized the anger was because of my man instinct kicking in and trying to find a solution, and the frustration that my fellow men were the ones perpetuating rampant gynocentrism for a taste of pussy.

So I decided to just accept that it can't be fixed. This Black Pill has proven quite effective. It's like watching a game of dogdeball where women form the circle with the men in the centre. It's interesting to see how more and more men are realizing the game is rigged and deciding to walk away, and what will happen when the women have nothing to throw the ball at.
