Everything here was supposed to disappear. Banned subreddits, deleted communities, cancelled blogs — much of what is archived here survives nowhere else.
It stays free — no paywall, no account — for the next man who comes looking, the way it was free for you.

Tbh, as a man, I would take the trade off of a bit less money for more time with my kids and more men should as long as you make enough and are stable. I find it a bit more difficult to choose this path if my wife is already taking it or at work I am compared to my male counterparts who don't take time off for my kids and im seen negatively for it.
What I dont get about your posts is that you seem to believe that if women or men put less value into their work, they should be paid the same as someone who puts 100% of their life into work. You are simply explaining the obvious tradeoff of focusing on different things in life and how that translates into different outcomes in your career. I guess you don't like that someone in the relationship has to sacrifice their career a bit for your children. Either make it your husband's job or dont have kids? Assuming a husband enjoys his kids, he is sacrificing by committing to work instead of his kids. Life is all about trade offs, everyone can't have everything - I wish everyone could sacrifice their work for children and still have optimal careers and pay but capitalism sees it differently :/.
