I can sympathize with her to a degree. I have 50/50 with my exwife and it sucks that he's only with me half the time. But you have to be an adult and accept that's the situation and the child has another parent equal to you in rights and responsibilities to that child.

With my kids, I never seen them cry over their mother. They never even said anything to allow me to assume they even missed her when they were with me.

When they had to go back to their mom they would hold on to me for dear life, cry and scream. Many times their mother would pull them away from me, denigrate and physically discipline them for acting so "childish" and refusing to instantly obey her parental commands. She was not open to discussion of - nor any change in - her behavior over the kids mental anguish and pain... neither were the courts, and according to my attorney it would have been "rocking the boat" if I tried to make an official issue of it. He said they would blame it all on me like she blamed it all on me. Apparently I must have been saying or doing something bad to make the kids act-out this way when they had to go back to their mother. In reality, they missed me and wanted to be with me instead of her, confirmed when each of them elected to come live with me when they turned 14.
