In 2017, men worked 56% of all hours and earned 56% of all income. Women worked 44% of all hours and earned 44% of all income.

"If rape laws were gender neutral then men would falsely accuse women of rape" -- a discussion I had with a feminist.

If feminists actually believed in the theory behind toxic masculinity, they would support the men's rights movement. MRAs are giving men a voice and a safe space to express themselves.

I feel like there is an unwritten rule in society that men are expected to listen to their wives / girlfriends and be obedient to them. Nobody wants to talk about this though and some people even think it's misogynistic to bring it up.

Most feminists are radical feminists by the literal dictionary definition of radical feminism: "the belief that society functions as a patriarchy in which men oppress women"

Men do not seem like they are proud to be men. And this is detrimental to their mental health. We need to celebrate men instead of demonizing them.

The idea that women are "bigger victims" than men is a harmful, antiquated gender norm that promotes toxic ideas in society

Sexual assault is clearly a problem and can be extremely traumatic.

But why exaggerate and hype up how common it is?

Psychology Today takes on two widely reported statistics about sexual assault, breaks them down, and puts them into context.

The number of female college students who are raped is likely as low as 1 in 16, or 75% less than the common 1 in 4 statistic implies.

And the number of men who admit even a slight wingless to rape, if they could get away with it, is only 2% to 7%, not 31% as is widely cited. And even that number is based on a small sample (n=86) of college aged men. And is acquired using questionable survey methods.

The justification for exaggerating these numbers is based on the belief that men and women don't understand what sexual assault is. And while it is true that men and women don't always contextualize their experiences as assault, it's likely that researchers have grossly overestimated the problem by conflating things like awkward kisses and drunk (not blacked out) sex as rape.

This is important because men, and especially minority men, are vilified as rapists and potential criminals. And this vilification is used to justify questionable police tactics that play into racial and sexist stereotypes against men and minorities.

Don't forget about Emmet Till or George Stinney who were murdered by false accusations.

In the past black men were lynched and sometimes hanged from trees if a white woman cried rape , the exaggeration of statistics is just fear-mongering and I do not know why women( and people) are accepting this.

Have we forgotten about how the KKK statisitics exaggerated statisitics? Have we forgotten about Nazi's statisitics? Have we forgotten about the US statistics?

Everyone wants a scapegoat and everytime there is one , mass death occurs however I know this phase will never happen however its just annoying to see such bloated figures as replace "men" with your race or with your religion and it hurts much more.
