Seems about what I would expect.

The one that's interesting is the low score for men to feel pressure to be physically attractive. On one hand, it's nice to not feel pressured, on the other hand I think society underestimates how much a role it has on a guys ability to attract women (if he's so inclined). For many guys trying, 3 hours a week hitting the gym would have a pretty good return on investment and be good for your health to boot.

On the previous page from the one linked, "Honesty/Morality" being the most valued thing in men is interesting, especially when the women's score is half as much. I've wondered if women have a hard time telling the difference between guys only really trying to get them into bed and those who may be willing to commit to them in a marriage or LTR. There are frequent stories about them being mad even if the guy was clear from the start a LTR was not going to happen. And then this comes out as wishing guys were more "honest". Just a theory. I'd welcome critique.

people put pressure on everyone to be good looking. including men. men who are lean, muscular and chiseled tend to be treated better than short, skinny, ugly men.

Exactly. Not pressured but it makes a difference in interactions with people.

That's also hilarious about men actually being upfront and women being pissed about honest communication.

Being physically attractive is way more of a pressure for men than for women because women can and are encouraged to fake it.

makeup, breast pads, heels, and dresses that enhance the figure.

as a man, you are either born attractive or suffer the best you can do is become rich which the vast majority of people will not achieve.

There was a youtube video where an overweight guy tried to get numbers from women without much success. Then he lost the weight, lifted, got a 6 pack and did the same approach as before except he took his shirt off and didn't even say anything -- just handed her her his phone. He got #s left and right even though his face was well below average. Not ugly ugly, but not a chiseled jawline or anything.

I don't think every woman goes for that type, but it's something most able-bodied guys under 45 could do if they cared enough to put in the work. I realize it was just someone making a video too, but there's seems to be enough of a hint of reality behind it.

Overall I agree but these pew research surveys are so subjective, I don’t give the results a lot of credence. Respondents need to pick some answer. Maybe they feel passionately that way, maybe it simply seemed a slightly better answer than the alternative responses.

Yeah. And there's always the problem of 'stated preferences' vs 'revealed preferences'.
