Serious crimes like rape and sexual assault should be handled by the criminal courts system, not university disciplinary committees. University disciplinary committees do not have the resources or knowledge to deal with serious crimes. If there was a stabbing on the university campus, they would call the cops, and let the criminal courts system handle it. They would not have a disciplinary committee to deal with the stabbing. I would love to see a law passed the would force all serious crimes like rape and sexual assault to go through the criminal court system, and forbid universities from having disciplinary committees deal with serious crimes like rape and sexual assault.

This needs to happen each and every time, ruthlessly and without mercy. Clearly the only thing these authoritarian twits recognize is being bitchslapped by bulldog lawyers after they've railroaded some clueless kid. Make them bleed every time, that shit will end with a quickness.

Good and as long as colleges and universities ignore due process long may it continue. Keep hurting them were it matters, in the pockets. The fight against feminist ideology is going to be a hard slog in academia but men should lawyer up and fight their (the colleges/universities) discrimination all the way through the courts. Money talks and keep hitting them in their pockets, a couple of these places go bankrupt and soon they will be crying foul and asking the police to deal in these matters (what should have happened in the first place.)

While I am glad he reached a settlement, and got to say a nice big "Fuck you!" to the university, the fact still remains that he should not have to resort to lawsuits for something that is obviously bloody illegal.

They need to start suing the government. Dear Colleague is why this keeps happening. Remove Dear Colleague, and these universities will largely abandon these tribunals.
