She should have gotten the same time they would have gotten.

Ex: If they each would have been sentenced to a minimum of 4 years then she should get 8.

If the men had been found guilty of rape they would have got 5 years minimum each so all things considered she got a very light sentence. Her sentence cannot be appealed by the public for being too lenient either.

Still more than I've ever seen a woman in the US get. The punishment could be higher yeah, but regardless of the crime 8 months is definitely not a slap on the wrist. And UK actually goes after them too, so much that a feminist organization over there is now lobbying the government to stop punishing women who lie. If nothing else, this starts sending a message to false rape accusers that they can't do that to an innocent man.

I would love to see a law that states that a proven false accuser will face the exact penalty, financial and imprisonment, as someone found guilty of the accused crime.
