We've all seen this interaction (M being an MRA and F being a typical "feminist"):

M: I consider myself an egalitarian. I want equal rights for both genders.

F: You're a feminist.

M: No, an egalitarian. It doesn't make sense to use a gender-specific term to describe something that isn't supposed to favor one gender.

F: What about the historical oppression of women? What about context?

Maybe MRA's should start doing this:

F: I'm a feminist. I want equal rights for both genders.

M: Oh, so you're a men's rights advocate. Awesome! Me too.

F: Noooo!

What do you guys think? I believe that the Men's Rights movement is about equality at its core (just like many feminists seem to think the same of their activism.) I notice a lot of people are still saying bad things about the movement despite its goals being fairly uncontroversial.
