Now I have your attention with that contraversial statement let me explain my reasoning. Firstly I do not mean that their are more than two genders but that gender exists on a sliding scale. Sex is the genotype, gender is the phenotypic expression of that genotype or to put it more simply the outward expression of your biological sex.

This outward expression includes: secondary sex characteristics, gender typical behaviour, gender roles and the clothing and accessories you wear. Given that gender a-typical men and women exist I do not see how gender cannot be considered to exist on a spectrum.

You can range from being a very feminine looking man to a very masculine looking man, a man that exibits from very feminine to very masculine behaviour, a man that ticks all the boxes in acting out male gender roles or feminine gender roles and a man that dresses in very masculine clothes or very feminine clothes(I'm looking at you Scotland you skirt wearing pansies). The reverse is obviously true for women. From Clint Eastwood to Zak Effron, From Emma Watson to Cris Cyborg, I cannot see how anyone can argue gender is not s spectrum.
