What's most ironic about this is that the right to bodily integrity is explicitly protected in the German constitution.

The law will most certainly be appealed all the way to the BVerfG.

I'm constantly amazed how the discussion is shipped around the elephant in the room when it comes to men's issues: This is actually about a human's right; not about "the jews", not abound freaking religious rights and not about not being the one country to step out of line. But I guess the appeal to tradition is good enough a fallacy for the chancellor of 80 million people.
