You ended your recent article, "Men and guns and mass murder" with a hate filled rant. You spent the rest of the article explaining why it's okay to post such bile. The truth is, just because you often go out of your way to offend people doesn't justify going out of your way to offend people. There are ways to start a discussion without looking like an ass.

To answer the argument you so crassly printed, men are the do-ers of the world. If something big happened, a man probably did it. Men do right and men do wrong. Men overthrow governments, men fight wars, men freed the slaves, men owned the slaves, men went to the moon, men invented the internet, men arrest criminals, and sometimes men kill. Sometimes women do these things too, and good (or bad) for them.

We, as a society, need our men. We, as a society, need our guns for self defense and defense against tyranny. Freedom has a price, and this is it. Instead of returning Freedom for a refund, ask how we can get a discount on the price of Freedom.
