I was falsely accused Fall 1995; luckily for me/my scenario, I had a witness in the 3rd party involved within said event who told the truth when interviewed by Strongsville Police, unlike my shady accuser.

Still went thru 5 or so years of rumors & fights with randumb iDiots (friends of the lying accuser) when out in public who either didn't hear or refused to believe I was innocent even after cleared by investigation!?

to be fair, it's also scary for fathers that their daughters could be raped at any time by a boy and statistically speaking he can get away with it.

Fathers are men.

Mens right dictates that we need to protect them from the terror of crimes against their daughters wives and loved ones too.

basically lets do as much as we can to prosecute and deter criminals: both rapists and criminals who falsely accuse men or rape.

Here’s my story.

I was accused of rape and it hurt my social interactions with mutual friends for over a year.

I was at a house party with friends and we were getting drunk, girl grabs me and starts making out with me, we all joked and laughed about it, talked about banging it out and all that stuff. As the night goes on, her and I fake pass out on a couch and waited for people to leave. Once the last person left, we started going at it. Clothes go flying, hands get handsy, mouths are doing mouthy things. The second I insert, I get a guilty feeling and pull out. The reason for the guilty feeling was because she is the ex of a buddy. I said I can’t, she said “is it because of her ex”. Yes.

The next morning my buddy who’s house we were at woke up and asked us what the hell was going on out in the living room, “did you guys bang it out”,we both just laughed and said things gotta little handsy.

The guilt of inserting once was too much for me to handle or hold back from letting her ex know. He was already in another relationship by the time this happened. So weeks later, after a night of drinking, I just let it all out. I told him what happened. He ended up calling her and let her know what I told him. She denied everything. She called me to ask wtf was going on and why would I tell him. Her denial of the events turned into her telling everyone we associated with (hundreds of people). I was shunned, received dirty looks, and whispers when I walked in a room.

It took a year for her to come clean and slowly let people know that it wasn’t rape. This was 4 or so years ago, and it’s still a little awkward with certain people.

I know it can seem distant and barely real reading these stories (flippant/malicious and false rape accusations) online, but I'm currently in the process of it happening to me. Hands down the hardest person hit by it all is my Mum.

I could do an AMA at some point as it's honestly the most ridiculously shit. Police have seen videos proving the accusations are false and I'm still the subject of an investigation that has been going on for 6 months and will carry on indefinitely. The stress its placed on me and my family is unreal. As well as knowing I could be arrested at absolutely any time in front of my post-grad and undergrad students, and my research group and career ended just like that.
