I have multiple recordings of this and am seriously contemplating getting a lawyer and returning to court

You got the right idea already. That's about the only thing you can do. Family court needs to take this kinda shit more seriously. I personally know a few men this has happened to.

I think parental alienation is considered child abuse in California (it isn’t in the state I live in. It should be). I’d keep documenting and gathering evidence as much as possible and talk with a lawyer.

It might help to print out exactly what the parental alienation definition is, also look at your states definition of child abuse and domestic violence and see if your ex’s behavior toward you or the children also fall into this category. I’m guessing that there is some sort of DV happening.

Also make sure to do as much as you can to let your kids know how much you love and care about them and have as good of time as possible with them.

This happend with me and my dad until I was thirteen. This stopped because I realised that my dad is a nice guy. He helps random people on the street super nice never hits me and when I do something wrong we talk about it. You just have to show your kids that your a good person and hold yourself to higher standards then them. They might not relize it now because they are young and impressionable but when they get older and smarter they'll truly love you and realize how good you are

You've got the right idea with the recording, and others have the right idea with legal remediation. However, what's best for your kids is that they see a therapist who has experience with parental alienation. Mom obviously won't be on board with it, so make sure you are in consultation with a lawyer if you take them to a therapist against mom's wishes.

Personally I got to the point where I had to let them go. I told them that a relationship between myself and them was impossible for now and that I'd come back into their lives once they were out of their mother's house. It was really hard. I hope it works out.

Get a lawyer ASAP and get evidence. Hell, if she says you drive drunk get an interlock that records the time you drive and get all the evidence you need to show she's an evil lying bitch.

It might be cheaper to pay some dude to romance your ex, then squabble with her. In some cases guys find the ex starts looking to dad to be the babysitter when she has some other dude entertaining her.
