This pisses me off whenever you bring up the subject of female violence against men (which most definitely exists and happens in much higher numbers than many believe believe or even realize), but besides getting the usual misandrist retort of "But male violence against women is much higher and an epidemic" or "Stop silencing women when they share their stories," another retort I see is when misandrists will claim female violence against men isn't systemic. I mean WTF, how is male violence against women in any way systemic? There's no campaigns that bring awareness to female violence against men and to end it as much as it's counterpart, women have so many shelters and clinics helping them and almost nothing for male victims. Women still don't have to register for the draft and the safety of women and girls is always made a priority. And of course how it continues to be overlooked that men and boys can also be and are raped by women. I've even seen some have the nerve to say gender-based violence only happens to women because men are never targetted for their gender. Ignorant and stupid doesn't begin to describe this. Do these morons seriously believe the government hates women so much it's made violence against them legal and integrated it into the system?

I don't doubt violence against women exists and is horrible, but so is violence against men. I'm so sick of this "one or the other" way of thinking misandrists have and trying to make gender-based violence a contest. Both men and women are violent to each other and commit heinous crimes against each other, and female on male instances happen much more often than many realize. But misandrists always see to it this never gets attention. It's especially all the more ridiculous a claim when there's a Violence Against Women act and in the U.K. it was seriously considered making misogyny a hate crime but not misandry and for a curfew of all men to keep women safe. The concept of systemic violence against women is beyond ridiculous taking this all into account, and is just another way they like to deflect from female violence against men and enforce the "women most affected" narrative.

The fact there's so much that acknowledges violence against women but not men is one of many things that debunks the notion of "male domination." In a male-dominated society, women and girls wouldn't be prioritized so much. The notion of a "male-dominated" society is laughable and downright insulting, when violence against men by women is always downplayed and outright ignored, and the safety and welfare of men and boys isn't even so much as an afterthought. Male domination, my ass.
