I am a man.

As a man I am taught that I am violent.

I am taught that I abuse women and children.

I am taught I am a danger to those around me.

I am told I am a babysitter, not a parent.

I am told I do not deserve custody of my child.

I am told I unfairly earn more than women, even though I work longer hours and more dangerous jobs.

I am told that emotions signal weakness, and I must never show them.

I am never a victim.
