(FVAM = female violence against men)

I hate it whenever you bring up the (very often overlooked and ignored) subject of FVAM that besides the usual misandrist retorts of "But male violence against women is a much bigger issue and at epidemic levels" or "But it's nowhere near as common" or "When women attack men it's usually in self-defense," I also despise it when misandrists will downplay it by saying it never has the same impact and severity due to size differences. They'll bring up how women are typically smaller and weaker, and the violence they inflict against men never does the same kind of damage, have the same level of severity, etc. which is BS. Violence against anyone by anyone else is bad in all it's forms, and not every man is tall or strongly built. Plenty of tall and strong women exist as well, and even if some women may not have the same level of muscle they can still be physically strong and capable of very heavy and even deadly violence against both men and women alike (as well as children and animals). Size doesn't play a factor in how severe violence can be. It's just another way misandrists like to downplay and deflect from the whole issue of FVAM and try to make it not as major an issue as MVAW and trivialize it.

I also despise the entire argument that a man should never hit back at a woman because of size differences because women are typically physically smaller and weaker. Which is more BS, no matter one's size you have the right to defend yourself against your attacker(s). You know what's also "smaller and weaker" than me? A brown recluse spider, which is very venomous and if untreated it's venom can kill you. I suppose by misandrists' logic, if I find a brown recluse spider crawling on me and it's about to bite me I should let it do so because it's "smaller and weaker" than me? Nobody should attack anybody unless in self-defense and regardless of gender, if someone is trying to physically harm you in any way you've got the right to stand up for yourself. And of course society as a while frowns when it's a man doing it to a woman who initiated the violence against him in the first place.
