MR isn't some misguided counter-movement to women's rights.

What here gives you the impression anyone wants to take rights away from anyone?

MR isn't acting on the assumption, or debatable hypothesis, that men are a marginalized group in the society of those who participate in MR advocacy.

It's not about who's "marginalized" or more oppressed. There are issues that affect men more than women - and yes, even issues where men are exploited or discriminated against.

That MR is advocating for equality for all people; because, inequality of an individual based on an identity that they fit into is no grounds for placing them in a less than equal status.

The Men's Human Rights Movement focuses primarily on issues that predominately or exclusively affect men. There's no shortage of attention paid to women's issues in mainstream media.

As long as women's rights is not confused with feminism then you'll not be disappointed.

MR is concerned with specific circumstances where men operate laws that adversely affect them or social constructs that misrepresent them. You can see some of these discussed or outlined in the sidebar.

Egalitarian beliefs seem to be popular amongst MR, as it debate about what actually constitutes equality.

MR can be a good or bad thing, just like women's rights, minorities right's, queers' rights, or any humans' right issue.

What is done under the aegis of MR can be a good or bad thing; if everyone is equal then by definition there would be rights that men enjoy equally with others.
