I am in a one year relationship with my girlfriend and for this year we fought and argue but we seem to work it out. But these two incidents we fought she said she was going to go to the police and tell them I beat her. I know for a fact it's not that cut and dry and I have never hit her and we just lost a child miscarriage. The miscarriage had me rethinking our relationship together and I told her I needed space to think if this is what I want. That's when she started packing her stuff and called her father to help her come get her. I called my brother and she thought I was trying to set her up and she said she was going to go to the police station and tell them I beat her. At this point we worked it out and are going to seek couple therapy. I would like to know what the process would be if she did end up filing a report and what are my options. I don't think I will be able to handle it again and if that happens I will take my chances with the law, but I don't want to end up in jail for something I didn't do because she said I did. I live in ohio by the way.
