I think there are lots of possible combinations of belief systems. You could have conservative feminists and liberal MRAs.

I counted myself among the latter until recently. I grew up in a left leaning environment. I always noticed the left’s capacity for intolerance. I always chose to ignore that voice telling me there was trouble in paradise.

I think #Metoo is mostly a phenomenon of the left. Once #Metoo hit, I could no longer ignore that voice telling me that sometimes sociopaths hide behind the mantle of social justice.

I’m not ignoring the red flag of self-righteousness anymore. I’m pretty much of an independent these days because self-righteousness can show up anywhere on the political spectrum.

Right now, while conservatives as a whole aren't that sympathetic either, some of them are willing to acknowledge that we have a major problem with young men. There isn't necessarily a concrete solution, but they're at least aware of it. Unfortunately, the progressives have fallen so deeply into the sewers of identity politics that they ignore the issue entirely and declare that men are whining about losing their privileges.

I wish more progressives did care, because issues that we talk about here are especially bad for minorities. Think of what this climate of suspicion does with black men; I remember reading that something like 40% of false rape accusations are towards a black male. Fatherless homes, crime, poverty, custody gap, illegitimacy,... it's bad enough for white males, but even worse for minorities.

What worries me is removing due process when it comes to sex crimes. Sure, you'll get some individuals who might have otherwise gotten away with it, but how many innocents will you lock up alongside them?

Mrm is not a political ideology. Im a libertarian with nothing but disdain for extreme conservativism. I believe trump is a menace that is throwing men down a deeper hole and making it harder for us now and in the long run.

Im a libertarian and the movement of the dems to the left makes me want to vote for Trump. I think he embodies freedom and entrepreneurial spirit. His nationalism does not scare me as it is only common sense for any nation to prioritize its own citizens first. Finally, his base is a natural enemy of feminists and is not afraid to call their BS without sounding off as male chauvinists

That's weird because it's hard to come to any conclusion other than that Democrats are anti-male. So by saying you're a Democrat, you're essentially saying men's rights aren't a priority for you and you prioritize a lot of other things above them.

Of course the Republican Party is also garbage on Men's Rights... they aren't, however, constantly and explicitly anti-male.
