In countries where hate crime legislation exists why isn’t the “gender wage gap” prosecuted. If companies are shown paying women less charge them. If no examples exist charge anyone repeating this lie.

In the U.S., having a wage gap is not a crime. Wage gaps can be caused by people working different hours, having different jobs, having more years of experience, etc.

Paying women less for equal work however is a crime under the equal pay act and can result in the prosecution of a party in violation of this act. Many other countries have similar legislation.

Lying about stuff like this is a shitty thing to do. In the US, lying is not a crime (unless under oath, on certain documents etc), nor should it be. Saying hateful words is not a hate crime unless coupled with actual violence. Do you really want to live in a country where words themselves are prosecuted? I do not.

There is gender earning gap even in profession that are female dominated. For instance male nurses make more money than female nurses. I think its because male nurses work longer hours.
