With Valenti, Marcotte, and Jezabelle at the fore for the face of feminism I think it has begun to turn. With the true face of feminism finally being seen more and more people are starting to shy away from it.

The only problem I see in the future is the academic feminists that have entrenched themselves pretty well. Dislodging them is going to be all but impossible where they are already teaching so I think a new batch of universities are going to need to come up and separate themselves from feminists by just not hiring them and not having a gender studies department.

There was actually a televised discussion about men getting the short end of the stick in the UK not long ago. It went as one could predict, but the fact that it was seen as a valid enough topic shows more people are becoming aware.

I worked in Family court as a legal intern in the US.

Answer: No, its not. Many states the judges have no choice because of the way the laws were written or decided by the higher courts.

For example the judge I was with frequently had his hands tied in cases where the woman would withhold visitation for long enough that she could request only supervised visits (state psychologist present at a state facility) with the father.... No repercussions for the mother blatently doing so, and it took less effort than actually allowing visitation.

Probably the most unjust thing I saw occur in family court outside of $$ issues.
