Toxic masculinity by definition refers to the restraint that men have due to social norms being pushed onto them, such as boys shouldnt show emotion, etc etc. It is referenced to be harmful for men and society. Masculinity isn't toxic in this concept, its the constraining "box" of what some people say masculinity absolutely HAS to be that is. (see: boys shouldn't show emotion, in order to be masculine.)

By my understanding, the concept of general masculinity is not bad in this notion, but the limiting restrictions that people put onto masculinity are.

Shouldn't this be something that Men's Rights should be behind? I'm new to this.
