The uptick in stupidity post-election is quite obvious. We have been removing as much as we can, but we can't stop it from being posted.

You could be mature about it and report it to help us out. Or you could be childish and quit.

I’ve not seen the posts you’re talking about, but I highly doubt they are as problematic as you make them out to be.

Haven't seen any posts that said women should die, be enslaved, or withdrawn from any sexual activity like they do with us just because Trump won.

You see, the thing about open internet forums that anyone can join and post in, is that anyone can just join and post here... There's no end of low-effort, shit-stirring, or "false flag" posts, report them and the mods will sort them out when they wake up. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There are also post like this one; the "I saw a bad thing I'm not going to provide proof" posts, the "I'm leaving even though I wasn't active here in the first place" posts, the "you're just the same as them" posts, the struggle session posts...

I've been on this sub for probably 7 years. Some among us (but not most) do post the kinds of things you're talking about. You "be better" by helping steer the conversation in the right direction.

I've come to realize that this sub is slowly becoming the male version of twox.

No. Those people have always been here and I never liked them. I come here to talk about men's issues not to listen to someone drone on about how much women suck. Instead of leaving the sub like a quitter, I want you to post about these issues:

* gener bias in custody law and family court

* gender discrimination in the military draft

* unequal protection from genital mutilation

* gender inequality in the criminal justice system * misandry in the media

* the dire effects of internalized misandry

* exploitation of typical male physical features by the capitalist class

* Reproductive rights for gay and single men

Etc.

I feel you. I'm not leaving but since the election this sub has just been post after post bashing women and nothing to do with mens rights. And any dissenting opinion has been downvoted which is something I always was proud this sub didn't do.

We disagreed, but we didn't downvote or bully.

I don't know anything about men bashing Korean women, but I have noticed some posts just bashing women in general and have run into a few extremist types. While I have some more moderate opinions on gender related issues, I'm not surprised at there being some people on this sub that are unleashing their pent-up anger towards women since DTs second election. I honestly don't think it's a bad thing either so long their mindset doesn't take over the group as a whole. There's only 364k members to this sub, and it's really the only place that men can say just about whatever they want without their posts/comments being removed or being down voted/dog piled into oblivion.

Let people say whatever they want. They'll be an example for reasonable men on what not to become, and hopefully, one day, some women will see how far some men have been pushed and what they've been through and voice of reason may just start speaking to them a bit. I agree that some things being said here and in public are a bit much, but as I said, let them just be an example. They're really nothing compared to the twox sub that has 13million+ members and almost every single post since election day has been hateful, delusional, etc. Not to mention all the women outside of reddit that have been having meltdowns and losing their minds. I see women all over the internet daily that are still mocking men and talking shit about how mens feelings are an insignificant speck compared to the supposed violent "reality" and "fear" that they perpetually live in. Men have feelings, men have fears, men matter, and if every man isn't able to express how he feels good or bad, then the vapid women scratching their heads right now and screaming into the air in wonderment of how the DNC lost to DT again will never even care to try and understand men.

You could try and be the voice of reason for the bitter and jaded men on here so that they can improve and represent themselves better, but instead you're deciding to walk away instead of seeking improvement for your fellow man. It can be annoying and mentally taxing, but that's just how these complex issues are, and pushing through all that mental effort and annoyance is how things end up changing for the better.
