My penis was mutilated and the rabii messed up making it so that every time I pee pain shoots up through my body.

I fucking hate circumcision and want to end it as soon as possible.

Neglecting choice is neglecting human rights. Cutting up part of a baby's genitalia because it 'might' help them later in life, looks better or God told you to do it is a DIRECT violation of human rights.

However, as a Libertarian, I firmly believe that both men and women should be allowed to get circumcised as an adult (18) under their own consent. It is sheer ludicrous that female circumcision is COMPLETELY BANNED, but that a mother can easily give their baby boy to have part of his penis mutilated on the whim. Unbelievable.

Great. I didn't and don't want to be circumcised. The differences in our situations are that you're doing it because you want to. I didn't do it, though. Rather, my parents did it, and the only reason I've ever heard is because my dad is circumcised so they thought I should be.

That, right there, is all the reason needed to ban infant circumcision. If you want to get any bit of you cut off as an adult, I think that's great. But don't dare come out and say that there are any advantages whatsoever to have the procedure done as an infant, or even as a minor in general. At least if you do claim advantages, please source them properly.

Which, in any other case, is wrong. That is why so many MRAs think it's wrong to do it to small children.

Speaking personally, my parents were catholic so of course it happened but I'm not really happy nor sad about it. If someone in their adulthood wants to have it done? Sure! Go for it. No risk to anyone else but yourself and as a consenting adult, you should have every right to make that call.

But to cut off part of the penis for whatever reason, when the child is mere months old? No. There's no way to justify that.

but you insulate yourself from any thought of female circumcision. your sexist approach is easy to ignore - you just can't be trusted around male kids.

The type of female circumcision you are speaking of is completely different than male infant circumcision. What you're talking about is removing a flap of skin to give easier access. That flap of skin is no different than any other. However, male infant circumcision attmepts to remove all of the foreskin, which is not just a flap of skin; it has thousands upon thousands of nerve endings that enhance sex and make the male sexual organ very sensitive. Removing it will completely change how a male is stimulated during sex. Also, removing the foreskin obviously gets rid of all the nerves in the foreskin, but it also exposes the head of the penis, which is not meant to be exposed. Because of this the head of the penis has to toughen up, it thickens and dries out, which makes it much less sensitive.

If you were to have your child circumcised, the way his penis is stimulated will be much different from that of an intact male. He will much much less sensitive. It's mutilation. I personally could never do that to any child, much less my own.

I am circumcised, and i guess i'm alright with it. Though as i age i resent more and more that someone thought they should chop a bit of me away. I have scars from when i was circumcised. It was as needless as female circumcision. If i could've had a choice i would've just left me alone. It's not like i would ever wanna put my genitals on display, so what does it matter how it looks.

Ignorant religious dogma is what first introduced the practice of circumcision thousands of years ago. That's it. Seeing that we are not supposed to be a religiously dogmatic country, I'd like to know what other justifications exist to carry out a circumcision. And the health reasons are both debatable and marginal.
