Man gets no jail time in N.Y. rape case

The headlines all say “Man who assaulted 3 teens”. They’re all the same age. The “man” was the same age as the “three teens”. I’m not going to get into the case itself but purposefully wording the headline to mislead isn’t good.

I don’t think the sentence was appropriate, but I don’t think misleading headlines are appropriate

This does look on the surface like a textbook case of, as my dad would put it, money talks and bullshit walks.

Not having access to what the jury saw, however, it would hardly be fair to say definitively. Both disgusting conspiracies and the rich getting slaps on the wrist for execution-worthy crimes have happened before, after all.

I’m posting this because I think it’s important we condemn bias against women just as strongly if we want to avoid becoming another version of modern-day feminism. I have no doubt there is bias against men overall in today’s justice system, but things like this can happen too. It’s time to call out bias and injustice as a whole.

This is absolutely awful, and he should be behind bars. I disapprove of feminism because a movement cannot be a movement for equality if it is only concerned with the issues of one gender. That's why us as MRAs should be working focusing on the issues facing both men and women. I do believe men are disadvantaged, but that doesn't give us the excuse to ignore women's issues.
