Here's what I posted:

I am honestly curious how the following posters would be received in this Reddit community:

"'My tongue is not for telling lies.' Women can stop false rape accusations."

"'My money is not for buying crack.' Black people can stop smoking crack."

"'My semi-truck is not for illegal immigration.' Mexicans can stop smuggling each other across the border illegally."

"'My HIV is not for infecting others.' Gays can stop spreading HIV."

"'My young men and women are not for suicide bombs.' Muslims can stop blowing up school buses."

"'My teaching certificate should not be used for statutory rape.' Teachers can stop seducing their students."

Note that I do not believe any of these things, but the poster campaign above is basically doing the same thing.

I'd like to help, but I've been banned from that subreddit.

As a man, I find these sorts of campaigns very offensive, and their main effect on me is to make me apathetic or hostile to the issue.

I wonder how many others feel this way - and whether the campaigners care what effect they're having on actual men's attitudes, or whether they're just in it for the warm fuzzy glow of smug self-righteousness.

You can't really have adult conversations about rape in feminist populated areas, they are to heavily invested in women as frail victims/men as storng oppressors gender role playing and abused stats. and toxic PSA's that "prove" they are right. They want to be afraid and feel weak and threatened, for some reason.

I don't have a problem with this. I don't think there needs to be a version with women. There are men who do the things they are saying every single day. Maybe they think those men might slip? OK. Thanks for the reminder, I'll be sure to keep being a decent human being.

Unfortunately over in 2X statements such as "99% of rapists are men" can be trotted out and be accepted without much question. This despite the fact that we know the percent of rapists that are female is closer to 50%, than it is to 1%.

They are not bad people for the most part, they are simply ignorant and (in some matters) biased against men / in favour of women.

that being said, here is a post on r/twoxchromosomes that really just chapped my ass. i enjoy twox most of the time; i think it's a good community and a nice safe place on the internet to discuss women's topics, but this shit is really starting to get out of fucking control.

educate yourself here and argue there. don't call for an invasion.

Mentally, when I see these posters, I think

Fuck you, asshole. I'm not getting between a predator and their prey for

A. No gain.

B. Potentially everything to loose.

C. Someone I don't even know.

I might call the police, but that's about it. And I'd have to think hard about getting sucked into court proceedings first.
