I can't say I've ever felt supported after a break up. Not once. At all. That's one of the reasons I don't really bother with dating anymore. Eventually, she's going to want to trade up, will fabricate an argument for an excuse, and will then literally fuck off to better pastures with a fawning group of supporters and enablers while I'm left with nothing but feelings of regret and betrayal. And lonlier than I felt the last time.

This isn't a men's rights issue, this is just how men treat each other.

If you want emotional support after a break up then make friends with women, or find men who are more emotionally comfortable with themselves.

It's really a matter of who you associate with.
