30% women date for food only and men to pay.I know women that had takeovers from restaurant that her date pay and bring over at home to her real boyfriend( feed her "baby").So we have to remove this expectation once and for all.If she expects you to pay maybe is not the right person for you.

Lose your job ( without the covid support) and see how long she sticks around.

Been on plenty of dates and not paid exactly once. It was a FWB that I didn't know was madly into me. We went shooting ( probably my favorite thing to do) should have caught that sooner lol

I don't feel this is common. I date a lot; like 1-2 week for over a year. I really can't think of an occasion where I've been expected to pay. Girls are hyper aware of the stigma and tbh they've paid for me more often than not

If I had to start dating again, the first couple dates would be coffee or drinks at my place. Easy way to weed out the gold diggers.

As a female I totally agree. I always pay for my share of food and drinks or if we ordered similar items and quantities I'm happy to split down the middle.
I'd also feel very uncomfortable if a man I didn't "like" more than friends or was a bit creeped out by him wanted to pay. I'd be more inclined to accept a date paying for my share if I really liked him and saw it heading towards a relationship. Sometimes it's a nice feeling when others shout you a meal and other times its a nice feeling when you buy others meals. My parents taught me never to order expensive things when others are paying so I follow that rule if dates/friends insist on paying.

Men could collectively agree on something like that too, like can you cook or not? Because that’s a dealbreaker for 95% of us. Men aren’t willing to fight a collective in a way that women are, which is a shame and got us in this mess in the first place. Men’s rights is a good start but we have a lot to catch up to.

Equality ends where hypergamy begins and this is why equality is a meme, because true equality is to the benefit of men, not women.
