After watching a documentary, I got a feeling that judge was an absolute piece of shit. It is also sad that judge can willy nilly throw out evidence.

I think the Menendez documentary, and maybe the popularity of Baby Reindeer, are starting to change the narrative and people are starting to talk about male victims of various forms of abuse.

This is 100% truth I forget her name but there was that lady who got her boyfriend to kill her parents and she's out and about now always pops up on some news story about what she's doing. The justice system is incredibly sexist and catered to benefit women and more often then not women just cry and play the victim this didn't work for the Menendez brothers with there sexual abuse story. But if they were sisters I garuntee you it would have been immediately believed and they would have recieved a lighter sentence. I looked it up gypsy rose was the lady everytime I see anything about her women flood the comments to make excuses and try to explain that it was OK for her to do what she did. There's also reports that her Boyfriend had a mental illness that made him susceptible to manipulation.

While I do agree that the Menendez brothers being released is good news, it doesn't seem like that will do much for men's rights in general. On CBS they tried to keep the narrative on their father sexually abusing the kids and ignored the abuse their mother inflicted on them.

I’m happy someone brought that up on here. I didn’t know if it was appropriate or not to bring it up on here. I’m also happy they have a real chance of getting out, they should have never got a life sentence.

I know the new documentary brought the issue up again, and is a factor in getting them out. But I feel like it kinda played them in not the right way.

I thought the issue was the validity of if they were actually abused, lots of conflicting reports, lies and the obvious connection of the large amount of inheritance. I'm sure male abuse wasn't taken as seriously as it is now but I thought it was more from the evidence than the subject.

You don't get to kill your abuser AND his wife because she's going to turn you in. These 2 should NEVER see the light of day again.

They killed their parents and then went on a spending spree. They never once mentioned any abuse to their therapist, and planned this murder. First degree. Don't make excuses for these 2.

I think an argument can be made for killing their father, although they could have also just moved out, but killing their mother? What did she do? She apparently wasn't even aware of the abuse, how did she deserve to die?
